2015 Plans

V8 Supercars - Sydney 500

G’day Everyone! Just wanted to put together a short blog post to get you up to speed on my 2015 plans.

As I mentioned in a post last year, I’m planning on covering plenty more motorsport events in 2015. I’ve already locked in the Bathurst 12 Hour, V8 Supercar Clipsal 500 and Australian Formula Grand Prix to kick off the year. While the plan after that is to follow the rest of the V8 Supercar Championship around Australia and over to New Zealand.

I’m very fortunate to have a couple of customers already locked in for 2015. That said I would like to lock in a few more customers to guarantee a solid budget for the remaining rounds of the V8 Supercars by the end of the Australia Grand Prix weekend. I’d be more than happy to chat to both media outlets and competitors amongst the V8 Supercar support categories.

To make this easier I’ve added some additional media related services to my skill set for 2015, if you’d like to know more about those, head on over to my new services page. That’ll also give you a bit of an outline of what I’ve been working on in the offseason.

In addition to the V8 Supercar’s I’m also looking at covering a few of Shannons Nationals events, in particular the ones at Sydney Motorsport Park and Queensland Raceway. While I’ll continue to head out to Sydney Motorsport Park for major events, including Top Gear Festival, Muscle Car Masters and Retro Speed Fest.

My plans to get over to Europe for either the Le Mans 24 Hour or Spa 24 Hour have taken a bit of a hit recently, but they aren’t completely off the table just yet. I’ll keep working on it, and maybe with a bit of luck, I can get that booked in as well.

If you happen to have a motorsport event line up for 2015. Either one I’ve listed or something else, and you’d like to discuss coverage options with me, please get in touch via my contact page. I’d love to help you out and get your event locked in to my schedule.

With all that motorsport set and ready to go, you’ll notice I’ve tweaked the design on my website to include more Automotive and Sports content this year. I’m going to line up a few more automotive photo shoots through out the year, expanding upon the relationships I’ve created with companies like Ferrari and Toyota in 2014. Keep an eye out on my social media to for more information about those as they develop.

Central Coast Mariners vs Adelaide United - A-League Game

I’m also looking at adding some variety sporting events I’ve covered to keep challenging myself and create some unique and interesting content in 2015. If that sounds like something you might interested in getting involved with, then definitely get in touch. Most of it will be shooting from the grandstands, but I’m definitely open to lining up proper accreditation for different sports if the opportunities arise.

For those of you wondering whats happened to my travel and landscape photography, don’t fret. With all the travel I’m planning to do in 2015, I decided that it needed its own place to sit on the internet. So I’ve created a new website/blog called Got Lost! with its own social media accounts. It’ll not only be a place to showcase my travel photography, but it’ll also be a place that showcase my new social media, video and content creation skills outside of what I’m doing in motorsport. If you’d like to know more or follow along with that journey head on over to http://gotlost.info and feel free to let me know what you think.

I do apologise if this post sounds like a constant sales pitch, but the fact of the matter is, I do need to reach out occasionally for more customers. The more customers I can get locked in the more great events I can attend, which means more awesome photos and great content for you guys to enjoy. I promise this be the last sales pitch like post, well at least until the end of the year.

I’m looking forward to an awesome 2015, as you can see I’ve been working hard on making it bigger and better than last year. Make sure you follow along with the journey on any of my social media accounts – TwitterFacebookGoogle+ and Instagram to keep up to with all the latest.

Cheers! And thank you again for all your support.
