Gridiron NSW Round 6

GridIron NSW Round 6

G’day Sports Fans! As I mentioned back in August I was keen to do some more work with the guys at GridIron NSW and capture some more American style football action. This weekend I had a gap in my motorsport schedule so I took the opportunity to head on up to Newcastle to catch a couple of games.

Ferrari Racing Days Sydney 2014

G’day Motorsport Fans! I’ll have to kick this post off with an apology, unfortunately I don’t have any great new images to share with you in this post (I just don’t have any photos from 2015 yet!). This blog post is exclusively about planning for next year and trying to drum up some extra customers to make it a little easier for me to cover more great events in 2015.

Norah Head Whale Watching

Norah Head Light House

G’day Everyone! Carrying on from yesterdays failed attempt to see the whales migrating (check out yesterdays blog post), I was informed that there were several whales could be seen along the coast line about lunch time. So I jumped in my car and drove up to Norah Head Light House to try to get in front of them to see I could grab a few shots.

Terrigal Sunrise

Terrigal Sunrise

G’day Everyone! Well it was any early start for me this morning. I’d been hearing from a few people who had told me there had been some amazing sunrises and a pod of whales that had been hanging around Terrigal the previous few mornings so I thought get up early and head on out to Terrigal and see how lucky I was.

Sydney Vivid 2014

Sydney Vivid 2014

G’day Faithful Followers! This weekend I took the opportunity to head on down to Sydney for the Vivid Festival. I was hoping to get down to Vivid a couple of times this year, but just wasn’t practical. So I braved the Saturday night crowds and tried to see as much of Vivid as possible in one night, seeing all of it in one night is impossible.

Somersby Falls on the NSW Central Coast

G’day Faithful Followers! I took the opportunity over the weekend to head out to Somersby Falls, on the NSW Central Coast, to do a bit of exploring. I thought after the recent rain that the waterfalls would have plenty of water and be flowing really well.

Best of April Fools Day 2014

HRT April Fools Day

Well it’s that time of the year again… While I normally only promote my own work and adventures through my blog, I do love a good April Fools Day joke. I think what I like most is the amount of effort big companies media teams put into making some creative April Fools. So I thought I’d put together a collection of my favourite April Fools Day pranks for 2014.

Melbourne, Australia 2014

Melbourne, Australia in 2014

G’day Faithful Followers! As you’ll be well and truly aware by now, I was in Melbourne, Victoria for a few days for the 2014 Australia/Melbourne Grand Prix (click on the link for that post). I had planned my trip down to Melbourne around doing photography work the Grand Prix, which didn’t eventuate, so that gave me an extra couple of days to take the opportunity to do a little bit of sight-seeing in Melbourne while I was there.  I hadn’t been to Melbourne for well over 8 years, and 2002 was the last time I was there for anything other than work (consequently the last time I’d been to the Melbourne Grand Prix).

Bali Indonesia – 2014

Sunset over Kuta Beach, Bali, Indonesia

G’day faithful followers. Something I like to try to do every year is take the opportunity to go overseas and explore a new place. For 2014 I decided to go back to somewhere I’d been before and headed back to Indonesia to explore some more of Bali, while having a bit more of a relaxed holiday before another hectic year. It’s been interesting to see how much Bali (in particular Kuta and Seminyak) has changed over the last few years.
